very strange fit?

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

these seem like great shorts- light, stretchy- just what I am looking for. I think they are supposed to fit tight, they are very contoured for big hips and small waist- I have the former but not the latter. I would've ordered large, but I careful consulted a size chart and a maesuring tape and went with xl- WAY too big. Returning and trying again.

Great if short not great for big legs

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These are *almost* perfect! I am 5’1 and weigh about 175. I got a large and I love them but they’re pretty tight around my thighs. The waist is a little big but with the waist belt that’s no problem!! I am just sad to see that the thighs are so tight, and xl would be way to big. I do love the purple color and I get compliments on them all the time. They’re wonderful for mountain biking or even just casual wear.

GET THEM!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have been looking for shorts that weren't too long so that I do not look like a boy when riding. I got the 5" in a small. I am 5"4 and weigh 120. They are perfect fit even with the POC shammie I bought to go with. Great material. Not too low on the waist that your back side starts showing like some brands.

Great inseam length for me, I'm 5'2"

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Love the fabric, very lightweight, breathable but also durable. The 5" inseam is great for my height which is shorter than average. Usually inseams on MTB shorts look too long on me and I look like I'm a child in my Mom's shorts. But these are the right length for me. Thanks!
