Best all around rack ever
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- Black 2in
I've been rocking a Thule T2 classic since before it was a classic. It was time to move on though as boost spacing, longer wheelbases and 2.6 tires started pushing the limits of its capabilities. For the longest time I thought I would get a 1up or one of the copycats, until I learned that they don't work well with wheels under 24 inches. Well, I've got one kiddo still on a 20" wheel bike and I needed a rack that could haul it, my full suspension mtb, my road bike, or some combo of the three. Enter this T2 Pro XTR. It's everything I loved about the original T2 but built for modern bikes and more refined. The ratcheting arm doesn't rub against my fork and the integrated cables for the lock actually click in to their little storage spot. The rack is super easy to install with no wobble at all. And, maybe my favorite part, my wife can raise and lower it. She always needed me to do it on the classic. One tiny complaint&while the finish seems really durable, it's difficult to get stickers to stick to it. Actually had to use a heat gun to apply some of my favorite stickers. Gotta make it my own!

Serious Bike Rack
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
If you have expensive bikes and no room in a van or SUV this is the hot setup. Rock solid! You're car will in all probability disintegrate before this rack. Note: If you use it on a small car with a 1-1/4 hitch the rack may hit on some drive ways. You'll need an elevated. 1-1/4 to 1 -3/4 adapter. We've used it on a Sorento and Rav4 with no issues. Camry not so good. Needed adapters. We couldn't find a 1-1/4 hitch. Folds up and down for hatch access with bikes loaded.

What is the max weight capacity of the bicycle the rack with the 2" receiver will hold. I'm looking for a rack that I can use for my electric bikes. Thank you
