SB140 T3 TLR X0 Eagle T-Type 29in Carbon Wheel Mountain Bike

From slicing through flowy singletrack to hitting that new jump line, the Yeti SB140 is our go-to bike when riding trails that call for an aggressive touch. Combining an agile frame with aggressive geometry and efficient 29-inch tires, the SB140 is a jack-of-all-trades bike that does everything well. A 65-degree headtube angle paired with a 77.5-degree seat tube angle makes for a bike that is confident in the steeps and climbs without a peep.

At the heart of the SB140 is Yeti's Switch Infinity suspension system, providing us with unrivaled suspension kinematics, high ant-squat characteristics, and a supportive and efficient ride. Size-specific- chainstays and seat tube angles allow us to get the same stable platform and efficient climbing position, no matter our size frame. Yeti took the SB130 and upgraded it, giving the SB140 10 millimeters more travel in the rear, a longer reach, a shorter seat tube, and a revised progression curve, providing us with a superbike that is more capable than ever.

Yeti refined their progression curves for most of their bikes this year, giving the SB140 a more linear 14-percent progression for enhanced small bump sensitivity, a more supportive mid-stroke, and a final third of travel that features a sharp dip in its leverage ratio, becoming more progressive for a bottomless feel and better bottom-out resistance. All of this means that the SB140 allows us to ride harder while simultaneously being more efficient, supportive, and playful.

The T3 TLR X0 Transmission AXS Carbon wheel build may be a mouthful but trust us, it's top-of-the-line. This build starts with Yeti's premium TURQ carbon frame, giving us the very best Yeti has to offer and utilizing the best carbon fiber available for the stiffest and lightest frame possible. This model of the SB140 is the Lunch Ride version, incorporating a bigger volume, piggyback shock, 10 millimeters of travel in the fork, more powerful brakes, and knobbier tires that all aid in more aggressive riding. DT Swiss's EXC 1501 carbon wheels take this build to the next level and are super lightweight and feature DT Swiss 240 EXP hubs for top-tier performance. As one of the most trusted names in suspension performance, Fox Factory 36 grip2 fork and Factory Float X shock give the Yeti SB140 premium suspension performance that is not only incredibly smooth but offers tons of compression and rebound adjustments so we can get our setup just right. When we are charging hard and suddenly need to slam on the brakes, we don't even break a sweat because this build is fitted with SRAM's most powerful brake, the Code RSC 4-piston brakes, to give us reliable braking power and exceptional performance.
